Del Rio, located just outside Gold Hill on the beautiful Rogue River, is an estate vineyard and winery with 465 acres of producing vines.
This property originally was a stage coach stop, transformed to a pear orchard in the 1920s and in the late 1990s became a vineyard, thus preserving agriculture in the Rogue Valley.
This site of primary southern facing slopes grows 13 different varietals. Many are sold to premium wineries in the state along with Del Rio’s own estate wine that can be sampled in the Historical Stage Coach Hotel, built in 1864.
Del Rio’s winery is located in the red barn which previously housed Del Rio Orchard’s pear packing facility. This historical and majestic setting is a relaxing way to spend time with friends and family, so pack a picnic and come and visit.
